Online Networkss For Recovering Addicts Attract Thousands
The Recovery Network launched on November 5th 2007 and is the first fully interactive, social networking internet platform in the UK to provide real time education and social assistance to anyone affected by addiction. Currently, the website is helping to support an online community of over 3,000 registered members and attracts several thousand unique users every month.
SoberRecovery.com, founded in 2000, has a registered membership of over 30,000, with many thousands of unique visitors daily.
And set to launch later this week is The Addiction Channel, the first All-Video Alcoholism and Addiction Resource and Referral site. In addiction to hundreds of educational videos, news stories and commentary, TheAddictionChannel.com will allow visitors to upload their own personal story of recovery so that others may identify with it and find hope and help.
